En nuestro imaginario nos hemos preguntado que puede ser duro vivir en un estado como Israel cuando se lucha contra las barbaries que día a día se cometen, no solo contra el pueblo palestino, sino contra los mismos ciudadanos y aún mucho más difícil si se es antifascista.

ReVuelta Radio tuvo la gran oportunidad de conocer al vocalista de Helem (Ran Deri) y poder compartir experiencias, hablar de la banda y sus canciones.
Helem es una banda de Punk-rock antifascista de la ciudad de Tel Aviv, Israel que vienen trabajando desde hace un par de años y hace poco realizaron el lanzamiento del album “Habgida Hagdola” (La Gran Traición). Todas las canciones son cantadas en Hebreo y su intencionalidad principal es llevar el mensaje al pueblo de Israel, y apesar de que la traducción puede llegar a perder algo del contexto, su música transmite facilmente la rabia y la fuerza del punk.
La primera canción que da el nombre al disco, La Gran Traición, marca la linea al instante; sus letras hablan de la creación del estado de Israel y la ocupación de Palestina y los eventos que generaron la guerra interna entre pueblos y que muchos ciudadanos de Israel se oponen y denuncian.
Dentro del álbum también vamos a escuchar canciones que están en contra de la religión, contra el nacionalismo, la ocupación y las fronteras.
La música elaborada por Helem a llegado a otras latitudes, a pesar de que sean cantadas en Hebreo, podemos recibir el mensaje que se quiere transmitir puesto que el fascismo lo hemos podido vivir de diversas formas en nuestros países.

Into our imaginary we have wondered what it could be hard to live in a state like Israel when fighting against the crime that is committed every day, not only against the Palestinian people, as the same form against the Israel citizens and even more difficult if you are an anti-fascist fighter.
ReVuelta Radio had the great opportunity to meet the vocalist of Helem (Ran Deri) and share some experiences, talk about the band and their songs.
Helem is an anti-fascist Punk-rock band from the city of Tel Aviv, Israel who have been working for a couple of years and recently launched the album “Habgida Hagdola” (The Big Betrayal). All songs are sung in Hebrew and their main intent is to send messages to the people in Israel, despite that the translation may lose some context, the music easily conveys the rage and strength of punk.
The first song that gives the name to the album, The Big Betrayal, drawing the influences in the album instantly; the lyrics speak about the creation of the state of Israel and the occupation of the Palestine territories and the events that generated the internal war between peoples and that many people in Israel oppose and denounce.
